Description of problem: The systemtap probes in python for function entry and return, as described in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SystemtapStaticProbes#Python_2 do not seem to work currently in F14 x86_64 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): python-2.7-8.fc14.1.x86_64 systemtap-1.3-2.fc14.x86_64 Steps to Reproduce: 1. # stap -e'probe python.function.return {log(filename);}' -c "python -c 'pass'" Actual results: No output Expected results: long list of filenames printed for each python function call return Additional info: Same it true for python3. Also none of the .stp scripts in /usr/share/doc/python-libs-2.7/ work
