Description of problem:
crash when using explain and prepared statements with subqueries

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mysql-5.0.77-4.el5_5.4

How reproducible:
drop table if exists `t1`;
create table `t1`(`a` int)engine=myisam;
insert into `t1` values (1),(1);
prepare `stmt` from 'explain 
select 1 from `t1`
where(select(select 1 from `t1` group by `a`))'; 
execute `stmt` ;

 
Actual results:
mysql crashes

Expected results:
should not crash
