How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. usbview
2. Watch all the pretty lights go out.

Actual Results: USB Hub lights turn off, Intellimouse Explorer light goes out, all USB devices
seem to be offline. Nothing interesting in /var/log/messages

GeForce 4 Ti4600 (nVidia binary drivers)
hmmmmmm
does it also fail without these ?

Comment 3 Michael Olson 2002-06-10 22:33:47 UTC
Yes, when started with the nv driver and no glx it does the same thing.

However, Without X started, if I try usbview with the display set to a different
machine it works fine.
