Description Bill Case 2010-11-18 18:06:19 UTC
Description of problem:
Imediately after upgrading from F13 to F14, I had an Evolution problem

In Evolution, the bolding and unread mail count has disappeared from my Account list and Search Folders. Inbox shows correctly as does my message list. I have shut down Evo and reopened, and re-booted, so it isn't quite that simple.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Evo v 2.32

How reproducible: Constant

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Constant
2.
3.

Actual results: Account and Search lists no longer show the number of unread messages, nor are bolded when they contain some unread message.

Expected results: That Evolution would continue to show bolding and unread message count as it did in F13

Thanks for a bug report. There was done an update to 2.32.1 yesterday, which is now in updates-testing. There is a fix for unread count in search folders. I'm not sure with respect of Account list, what you mean with that, but I recall a change involving proper order of notifications on folder changes, which may influence the folder tree as a whole. Please try with evolution-2.32.1.

"I'm not sure with respect of Account list, what you mean with that," The accounts list is a list of of three or four separate email accounts that I have. It is included in same list as "Drafts", "Junk", "Outbox" etc. under "On This Computer". I have to wait for mail from one of those accounts to confirm if there is a problem or not. I thought there was but, I subsequently received a message in one of those accounts and it workd correctly. Will wait for the update.

I want to emphasize that Evolution needs to bwe fixwed.

Comment 4 Christopher Beland 2011-08-01 17:09:00 UTC
Is this still a problem, Bill? FYI, I haven't seen any issues like this in Fedora 15.

Comment 5 Bill Case 2011-08-01 21:14:00 UTC
It is no longer an issue.

Comment 6 Milan Crha 2011-08-03 07:17:16 UTC
Thanks for the update. I'm closing this in favour of fedora 15.
