Description Paul Finnigan 2010-11-22 22:31:02 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.1.2

How reproducible: Every time I start emerillon

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start emerillon
2. Look at Blank Grey Map
3.

Actual results: No Maps

Expected results: See Maps

Additional info: I think this is to do with my running the x86_64 version. If I start it at the command line I see the following output:

** (emerillon:6940): WARNING **: Metadata for error domain "geoclue-error-quark" already registered

(emerillon:6940): Ethos-WARNING **: plugin-loaders directory not found: /usr/lib/ethos/plugin-loaders

** (emerillon:6940): WARNING **: placemarks: The plugin loader "(null)" could not be found

** (emerillon:6940): WARNING **: search: The plugin loader "(null)" could not be found

I do not understand why the plugin should be expected in /usr/lib/ethos rather than /usr/lib64/ethos.

Comment 1 Peter Robinson 2010-11-22 23:34:26 UTC
This is actually a known issue with ethos the library that emerillon uses. emerillon plans on moving to libpeas like the rest of gnome but development has slowed so there's no eta when this will be fixed.
