Description of problem:
Please backport if possible support for eDP connected displays. Works in current Fedora (FC14) with 2.6.36.6-48 kernel, xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.16-11.20100826git065576d.

Tomas, what hardware are you seeing the failure on?  I don't believe there's a great deal directly related to eDP that's not in the EL6 kernel already, I could be wrong though.

Are you able to post a dmesg log of nouveau failing to initialise the display please?

All works in 2.6.32-71.7.1, sorry for panic, closing.
