Screenshot of Problem

Description of problem: When a significant piece of text is highlighted and made bold, the effects persist after the user has completed that piece and moved on to the next command.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.0 from Fedora Repo
(Newest version of texmaker listed as version 2.1)

How reproducible: First noticed on my laptop [F14(x86)] about a week ago. Then decided to reinstall most of the packages with texmaker being the last to see if anything would happen. Afterwards, tested if the problem was commonly encountered in a virtual machine on my desktop, using a vanilla install of F14 (x64), and then updated everything and installed texmaker and still had the same problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum update
2. yum install texmaker
3. start texmaker, type \begin{document}\end{document}

Actual results: The matching { } braces and everything within the braces are highlighted and made bold. Upon leaving the braces, text remains bold but not highlighted.

Expected results: Only the matching { } braces should be highlighted and made bold. Text within the braces remains at normal weight. Upon leaving the braces, they are un-highlighted and return to normal weight. It should behave as other editors do at highlighting matching braces.

Additional info: This began about a week ago and the update include xorg updates. I do not know much about the update process and options to undergo.

Same thing here with: texmaker-2.0-2.fc14.i686.

Currently, the latest version of Texmaker is 2.3, but I don't have the time to test it right now. Is there a chance there will be an upgrade for F-14?
