Description of problem: The currently available MySQL 1.2.3c1 build (originally from June of 2009) lacks full python 2.7 support, or so I'm told. Correction: it seems it actually does work, its just that the code in question had a compatibility check that was limiting it to python 2.6. But it'd still be good to update to the released code.
