Description Dominic Hopf 2010-12-13 23:55:24 UTC
Description of problem:
`yum search graphviz` on a system with German locale outputs following line:

  graphviz-lua.x86_64 : PHP-Erweiterung für graphviz

This obviously seems not to be correct. It should be "Lua-Erweiterung", not "PHP-Erweiterung". Not sure if this is the right place to report this issue.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
% rpm -q graphviz
graphviz-2.26.0-4.fc14.x86_64

% rpm -q graphviz-lua
graphviz-lua-2.26.0-4.fc14.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:

Make sure you have German locales at least installed and run something like

  LANG=de_DE.utf8 yum search graphviz

Comment 1 Dominic Hopf 2011-02-12 20:01:22 UTC
Just to not forget this issue, it is still present with newer versions:

% yum search graphviz | grep lua
graphviz-lua.x86_64 : PHP-Erweiterung für graphviz
yum search graphviz 3,95s user 1,58s system 14% cpu 39,163 total
grep --color=auto lua 0,00s user 0,00s system 0% cpu 39,162 total

% rpm -q graphviz
graphviz-2.26.3-1.fc14.x86_64

% rpm -q graphviz-lua
graphviz-lua-2.26.3-1.fc14.x86_64

Proposed fix

The problem seems to be also present in rawhide. The attached patch should fix it. It cannot be fixed in graphviz, reassigning to the correct component.

Hmm, may be the right is the localization component? Not sure, please reassign to correct component in case I was wrong.
