On certain manpages (for example, man sshd_config), the error /usr/share/groff/1.20.1/tmac/doc.tmac:3375: bad character definition is displayed at the top of the manpage. This also seems to cause rpmlint to give false warnings about the manpages: $ rpmlint openssh ... openssh.x86_64: W: manual-page-warning /usr/share/man/man8/ssh-keysign.8.gz 3375: bad character definition openssh.x86_64: W: manual-page-warning /usr/share/man/man8/ssh-keysign.8.gz 3379: warning: macro `\}' not defined openssh.x86_64: W: manual-page-warning /usr/share/man/man1/ssh-keygen.1.gz 3375: bad character definition openssh.x86_64: W: manual-page-warning /usr/share/man/man1/ssh-keygen.1.gz 3379: warning: macro `\}' not defined ... The same bug on the Gentoo bugzilla (https://bugs.gentoo.org/263524) points to the following stream fix: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/groff-commit/2009-04/msg00000.html. Would it be possible to backport this fix in the Fedora package?
