Description of problem:
Warning message while package installation:
Warning in file "/usr/share/applications/fedora-xarchiver.desktop": usage of MIME type "multipart/x-zip" is discouraged ("multipart" is a media type that probably does not make sense in this context)

Note that I installed fedora 14 from scratch and added the package. This seems to be a fedora 12 package?

1. Install the package with yum and watch the messages.

There was no update of xarchiver for quite a while, so there is no reason for me to rebuild the package.
xarchiver-0.5.2-8.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14.
xarchiver-0.5.2-8.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15.
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing xarchiver-0.5.2-8.fc15'
as soon as you are able to.
