Description of problem: When fingerprint authentication is enabled, logging into the system remotely via SSH and attempting to sudo invokes fingerprint authentication. This is problematic, since fingerprint authentication should not be used for remote clients. A painful workaround is to wait for the thirty second timeout and the fall through password authentication. How reproducible: Always reproducible. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable fingerprint authentication in gnome-about-me 2. Login to the system remotely via SSH 3. Run sudo Actual results: The user is prompted for fingerprint authentication. Expected results: The user should be prompted for password authentication. Additional info: This was reported against Fedora 11 in (closed) bug 506058.
