Description John Williams 2011-01-03 22:50:50 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/httpd from 'read' accesses on the file psched.

*****  Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests  ***************************

If you believe that httpd should be allowed read access on the psched file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep /usr/sbin/httpd /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Which apache module are you using?

You can allow it using

# grep httpd /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

And I think it should be allowed only by local policy. Since that would allow all apache processes to read network config.

Comment 2 John Williams 2011-01-05 12:51:49 UTC
Hi,
I use the standard Fedora installation of Apache and PHP to create PHP web pages on localhost before uploading them to a server.
This selinux error has never happened before. I don't know what 'psched' is.
John.

Try

locate psched

Comment 4 John Williams 2011-01-05 22:57:26 UTC
Hi,
This is all I got:

$ su -c updatedb
$ su -c 'locate psched'

/usr/include/kde4/kcal/imipscheduler.h
/usr/share/kde4/services/korganizer_configgroupscheduling.desktop

Comment 5 Daniel Walsh 2011-01-06 15:58:54 UTC
Ok I have no idea then.
