SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/httpd from 'read' accesses on the file psched. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that httpd should be allowed read access on the psched file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep /usr/sbin/httpd /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:httpd_t:s0 Target Context system_u:object_r:proc_net_t:s0 Target Objects psched [ file ] Source httpd Source Path /usr/sbin/httpd Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages httpd-2.2.17-1.fc14 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.7-19.fc14 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.35.10-74.fc14.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Dec 23 16:04:50 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 2 First Seen Mon 03 Jan 2011 15:32:22 GMT Last Seen Mon 03 Jan 2011 22:18:42 GMT Local ID def86eb2-5e1c-4172-a624-cec236e3785a Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1294093122.371:10): avc: denied { read } for pid=2177 comm="httpd" name="psched" dev=proc ino=4026531968 scontext=system_u:system_r:httpd_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:proc_net_t:s0 tclass=file httpd,httpd_t,proc_net_t,file,read type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1294093122.371:10): arch=x86_64 syscall=open success=no exit=EACCES a0=7fff9a4a7660 a1=0 a2=1b6 a3=0 items=0 ppid=1 pid=2177 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 tty=(none) ses=4294967295 comm=httpd exe=/usr/sbin/httpd subj=system_u:system_r:httpd_t:s0 key=(null) httpd,httpd_t,proc_net_t,file,read #============= httpd_t ============== allow httpd_t proc_net_t:file read;
Which apache module are you using? You can allow it using # grep httpd /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp And I think it should be allowed only by local policy. Since that would allow all apache processes to read network config.
Hi, I use the standard Fedora installation of Apache and PHP to create PHP web pages on localhost before uploading them to a server. This selinux error has never happened before. I don't know what 'psched' is. John.
Try locate psched
Hi, This is all I got: $ su -c updatedb $ su -c 'locate psched' /usr/include/kde4/kcal/imipscheduler.h /usr/share/kde4/services/korganizer_configgroupscheduling.desktop
Ok I have no idea then.
