Description fedora 2011-01-16 18:43:18 UTC
abrt version: 1.1.14
architecture: x86_64
Attached file: backtrace
cmdline: /usr/lib64/openoffice.org3/program/simpress.bin -impress /home/flo/Desktop/P1Folien/11_bedingungen.odp
comment: The moving slide was going to be the first on the second row of slides. Moving it I reached the left outer edge of the screen (Impress window was maximized), holding the mouse button down. That was the moment Impress disappeared from the screen.
component: openoffice.org
crash_function: sd::ViewShellBase::GetDocument
executable: /usr/lib64/openoffice.org3/program/simpress.bin
kernel: 2.6.35.10-74.fc14.x86_64
package: openoffice.org-impress-1:3.3.0-18.2.fc14
rating: 4
reason: Process /usr/lib64/openoffice.org3/program/simpress.bin was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)
time: 1295199508
uid: 1000

How to reproduce
-----
1. Moving slides in View Mode "Foliensortierung"
2. Focus of slide to be moved was lost (maybe because of an unwanted mouse click or movement)
3. Trying to move it again Open Office Impress crashed

I played with the slide sorter under valgrind and did not notice any problem...

Comment 3 Caolan McNamara 2011-02-02 16:07:52 UTC
Well, if we can believe gdb we can stick in a band-aid for a NULL GetDoc() in ResetPage, probably doesn't really get us very far unless we can get to the true root of the matter, but worth a shot

Done for >= 3.3.0-20.3
