Description Jeff Weiss 2011-01-17 15:06:48 UTC
Description of problem:
Currently in RHSM gui the only way to enter dates (for filtering subscriptions, etc), is to use the date selection widget. This is a problem for automated testing because the automation cannot interact with these widgets.

I propose a slight change to the UI design:

____________ ____
| 1/15/2011 | | C |
------------- -----

Where the lefthand textbox is editable. The C button would have calendar icon on it, and would pop open the calendar widget when clicked. If a user selects a date, it would be written to the textbox.

Of course this would mean that improperly formatted dates would need to be handled, but I think that's as simple as catching the exception and popping up a error dialog.
