Last modified: 2015-01-04 18:45:53 EST
Description of problem: authconfig-tui/gtk removes "ldap_user_home_directory" from sssd.conf How reproducible: always steps to re-produce: Add, ldap_user_home_directory = <some-value> to sssd.conf, run authconfig-tui/gtk Actual results: ldap_user_home_directory is missing Expected results: The entry "ldap_user_home_directory" present in sssd.conf after using authconfig Additional info: other entries like ldap_user_shell,ldap_user_name are not affected.
Please give acks. This is already fixed upstream: http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=sssd.git;a=commitdiff;h=22310aadc8733e87153d6519aff0aed7dea44e79
Method: 1. Configured sssd.conf as: [domain/LDAP] ldap_uri = ldaps://sssdldap.redhat.com:636 cache_credentials = true enumerate = False entry_cache_timeout = 5400 ldap_search_base = dc=example,dc=com id_provider = ldap auth_provider = ldap ldap_tls_cacertdir = /etc/openldap/cacerts ldap_tls_cacert = /etc/openldap/cacerts/cacert.asc debug_level = 9 min_id = 1000 ldap_schema = rfc2307 ldap_user_home_directory = homeDirectory ldap_user_shell = loginShell 2. authconfig/authconfig-tui/authconfig-gtk --enablesssdauth --enablesssdauth --updateall 3. Verify sssd.conf Result: The entry "ldap_user_home_directory" still exists in sssd.conf even after using authconfig, as expected. Verified in version: sssd-1.5.1-13.el6.x86_64
