Description of problem: Blanking a user's password apparently succeeds Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): chntpw-0.99.6-13.fc12.x86_64 How reproducible: Either copy SAM file to a non-ntfs partition or try editing a mounted ntfs (To clear out any FAQ recommendations on site) Steps to Reproduce: 1.chntpw -u <user> SAM 2.Try unlocking the account >> this actually still works 3.Try blanking the user's password.
