This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.) More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping/Fedora19
I'll hijack this bug report, the underlying issue is the same: Anaconda allows the user to destroy his partitions first and then announces "sorry, can't install because of broken package dependencies". See the attached screenshots. Anaconda informs about a broken package dependency in the Software spoke. But whatever action you make (except Quit) brings you into the main hub where all the warnings are gone. It seems that the problem has 'disappeared'. But if you begin the installation, Anaconda first modifies the disk layout and then announces it can't continue because of dependency problems. In this case there is no reason to allow the installation in the first place. If anaconda knows the packages can't be installed, it shouldn't allow the user to perform any destructive action.
