I was using a normal ftp connection. This had happen once before, and when it did I had firefox open, and the same thing with now. I have never had this happen when firefox was closed. CVan you try to reproduce with the first stable release of glibc from updates-testing ? yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing glibc Thx for the report.
Updating to glibc-2.13-1.x86_64 will fix this issue.
