The normal system cron entries are active during the Live session. This can impact performance significantly when the mlocate cron entry is executed, especially in a virtual environment. We should probably come up with a way to disable this during live and enable it after an install. It might be best to just disable cron while running the live system.
The problem is that the livesys script needs to be changed to work with systemd. It tries to turn it off with chkconfig, but that isn't enough.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'.
