Description of problem:

When moving the cursor inside the drawing area, Inkscape leaves artefacts of the position indicators on the x and y axis. This seems to be independent of acceleration (or lack thereof) in X, as I've tried with both and the result is the same.

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Inkscape
2. Move cursor inside drawing area
  
Actual results:

Artefacts on guide rulers, as per attached screenshot.
