Description of problem: After upgrading to 1.3 performing a remote kickstart of a virtual system fails after the system tries to update spacewalk-koan. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.3 How reproducible: Have spacewalk-koan installed and provision a new virtual system. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run virtual system kickstart form spacewalk web panel 2. Run rhn_check -vv on remote system 3. Kickstart fails: Error while executing packages action: empty transaction Actual results: D: Called update [['spacewalk-koan', '0.2.16', '1.el5', '', 'noarch']] Package spacewalk-koan-0.2.16-1.el5.noarch already installed and latest version D: Sending back response ((6,), 'Error while executing packages action: empty transaction', {}) D: do_call packages.checkNeedUpdate ('rhnsd=1',) {} rhn_check exists and kickstart fails.
