Description of problem: unknown NMI is reported in syslog /var/log/messages, listing reasons "3d" and "2d".


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.38-0.rc4.git0.1.fc15.i686

How reproducible: random but at least a few times in first hour after boot

F15alphaTC1 is having trouble with video card udner X11 (windows all black, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=675021) but text screens such as VT2 work fine.

Package kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git4.1.fc15:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 15 updates-testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git4.1.fc15'
as soon as you are able to, then reboot.
