Description Dan Davis 2011-02-13 18:10:05 UTC
abrt version: 1.1.14
architecture: x86_64
Attached file: backtrace
cmdline: octave
comment: This seems easy enough. Fedora 14 only has hdf5-1.8.5 libraries, so rebuild octave with the current libraries.
component: octave
crash_function: H5check_version
executable: /usr/bin/octave-3.2.4
kernel: 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64
package: octave-6:3.2.4-3.fc14
rating: 4
reason: Process /usr/bin/octave-3.2.4 was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT)
release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)
time: 1297620561
uid: 500

How to reproduce
-----
1. attempt to load an hdf5 file in octave
2. Octave crashes with the message that it was built with hdf5-1.8.4 and the system version is 1.8.5
