Description cyrushmh 2011-02-21 11:48:52 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/npviewer.bin from unix_read, unix_write access on the semaphore Unknown.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that npviewer.bin should be allowed unix_read unix_write access on the Unknown sem by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep npviewer.bin /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Comment 1 Miroslav Grepl 2011-02-21 12:57:18 UTC
Are you running chromium-browser using "sandbox -X -t sandbox_web_t ..."?

Comment 2 Daniel Walsh 2011-02-21 23:12:32 UTC
Or are you launching sandboxes from chromium or some other process running as unconfined_execmem_t.

ps -eZ | grep unconfined_execmem_t

Miroslav, probably a leaked semaphore.

NO,I'm use firefox in sandbox.
policycoreutils-sandbox-2.0.83-33.10.fc14.i686

$sandbox -X -w=800x640 -i ~/.mozilla -t sandbox_web_t firefox

Comment 4 Miroslav Grepl 2011-02-22 12:05:07 UTC
Ok and does this work also?

Comment 5 Daniel Walsh 2011-02-22 14:57:48 UTC
cyrushmh do you know if you were trying to send email or play a movie when this AVC happened. Maybe firefox is trying to communicate with the mplayer or thunderbird through a semaphore. We probably want to dontaudit this access.
