Recreate:
1. create a template w/ valid packages and click build
2. As the template is building OR when its completed, toggle back and forth between the "Properties" tab and the "Images" tab.

You will notice two different status messages.

Jan, can you take a look at this?  I suspect this is something just slightly off in the view code, but since you wrote most of that, think you would find it quickest. 

Note that this is not worth much effort if it appears to be related to old factory rather than views.  If factory is an issue, we'll defer this until new one is tested to see if the error continues.

Tomas is taking this, it's related to loading tabs with ajax.
