Description Andy Lawrence 2011-02-21 21:21:35 UTC
Description of problem:

control-center-2.91.6-8.fc15.x86_64 does not save all System Settings. If I turn off the screen saver password lock it always turns back on. Enabling touchpad edge scrolling always reverts back to unchecked. Running gnome-control-center from console doesn't produce any interesting output.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

control-center-2.91.6-8.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:

Always

This is a fresh install of F15 Alpha test 2 with all updates as of 2/21/11.

Happy to test in any manor.

Given that "saving" the settings is implemented differently, you might want to file separate bugs for each instance instead in the future.

It wasn't implemented in 2.91.6, upgrade to the latest control-center.

Most likely:

I'll close this bug, given that the lock problem should be fixed now, and the mouse problems will be fixed shortly upstream.
