looks like the crash happens in some font-handling routines, the lowest level being fontconfig.

Are you using any non-default/non-standard fonts?

Comment 3 Hans Ecke 2011-02-24 23:09:34 UTC
Yes, this seems to be inside fontconfig. Of course, it is possible fontconfig's caller could be doing invalid things. Do you want me to re-assign to fontconfig?

This is inside a nomachine NX session, with the microsoft webfonts installed.

Comment 4 Rex Dieter 2011-02-25 15:29:05 UTC
I'll bounce it to fontconfig for advice/feedback.

Comment 5 Hans Ecke 2011-02-25 15:32:01 UTC
Thanks Rex. And also for all your work with KDE on Fedora. I'll amend this bug if I get more crashes with a similar backtrace.

Comment 6 Akira TAGOH 2012-04-05 10:05:30 UTC
Does this issue still persist?

Comment 7 Hans Ecke 2012-04-05 16:12:50 UTC
Hi Akira-

I have not seen it in about half a year.

Cheers

Hans

Comment 8 Akira TAGOH 2012-04-06 01:48:12 UTC
Since this raised on the older version of Fedora and is EOL now. it might be fixed in somewhere then. I'll close it so far. please reopen or file new one if you still see this issue. thanks
