loading drivers via these load without adding single lines in debug mode otherwise presents the effect similar to the white screen Option "ForcePanel" Option "PanelSize" "1280×800"

the team is a siragon ml-6200 by then install ubuntu tube that modify the xorg to show a resoluciòn 1280 x 800.

To install the driver vx800 screen displays blank is due by the xorg is modified after the installation file to connect an external monitor this if displayed image I have tried to modify the xorg for that image internal monitor but I could not just with this xorg previous I have image

run without xorg.conf screen displays a few strange of static on a television monitor is 1280 x 800 resolution to connect an external monitor if normal image stripes

How reproducible:

the problem occurs after you install the latest version Unified GFX driver see 87th-55689 for Ubuntu 10.04 (29 Sep 10) I can do that image in the internal monitor (only white screen 9 but works normal with one external.)

as I can't image modify the xor of the current

Your logs indicates that you are running Ubuntu. Do you have the same problem with fedora?

Comment 2 Alberto Jovito 2011-05-04 20:51:25 UTC
I have not tried to install the proprietary drivers in fedora yet but I tried to start with fedora 14 from a flash drive and is this the same bug in ubuntu 10.04.2 This is easy to solve only need to install the drivers 1:0.2.904 + svn916 openchrome -1build1.

The effect I got when trying to start fedora 14 was the same as in strange lines like ubuntu a TV with Static another possible solution is to add the lines:

         Option "ForcePanel"
         Option "PanelSize" "1280 × 800"

to xorg, prune anyway start with vesa drivers with the options:

         Option "ForcePanel"
         Option "PanelSize" "1280 × 800"

to xorg, prune anyway start with vesa drivers with the basic boot option video

COuld we get configuration files (/etc/X11/xorg.conf and /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/*) which generated this log, please?

Thank you

Comment 6 Alberto Jovito 2011-05-06 13:53:40 UTC
To generate this log (attachment 496923 [details]) does not start with no xorg.conf file soon you dare /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/* configuration files

From the log :

[ 31.194] (EE) CHROME(0): Unknown Card-Ids (1122|1106|2211), Chipset: VX800/VX820; please report to openchrome-users

What is this hardware ? I would need the manufacturer and model of this laptop or motherboard. Also, what are the available output (VGA, TV out, laptop panel) ?

Comment 8 Alberto Jovito 2011-05-09 04:12:24 UTC
The manufacturer is called Síragon http://www.siragon.com/ in south america, model ML-6200 is a netbook graphics card has the Via VX800 chip and Via Nano L2200 processor.

Has only vga output and internal LCD screen using the vga output is not displayed strange effect.

Comment 11 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-16 22:37:42 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 14 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
