Bad compiler flags are used; which (apart from loosing performance optimizations and security protections such as stack protector and _FORTIFY_SOURCE) causes -debuginfo to contain empty files instead of ones with debugging symbols. I've found that out while having a gvfs-dav crash which traced back into avahi client library, which I've been unable to debug further due this problem. A proposed spec file fix: -make %{?_smp_mflags} -fno-strict-aliasing" +make %{?_smp_mflags} CFLAGS="%{optflags} -fno-strict-aliasing"
