Description of problem: I configured 2 partitions: /boot and an LVM volume on the rest. The logical volumes filled out the physical one. I asked to edit one of them, and the system hung. I could move the window around, but nothing else got any response. Had to reboot the hard way. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Whatever is in 15 alpha How reproducible: Happened once. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
If you can reproduce this can you get to tty2 (ctrl-alt-f2) and attach the install logs from /tmp/*log to this bug as individual text/plain attachments.
AFAIR, I tried to fix things up by alt-F2 and such, but the machine was completely dead.
How much memory do you have in the system? This could potentially be an OOM killer situation.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
