Description Stephen Gallagher 2011-03-17 13:23:55 EDT
Description of problem:
Now that https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=658238 is fixed, we should rebuild SSSD against these libraries. This will give us support for following LDAP referrals (among other enhancements).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sssd-1.5.1-16.el5
openldap24-libs-2.4.23-4.el5
Comment 2 Kaushik Banerjee 2011-05-27 05:17:04 EDT
SSSD is now build against openldap24-libs.

1. # yum deplist sssd
package: sssd.i386 1.5.1-34.el5
<snip>
dependency: libldap-2.4.so.2
   provider: openldap24-libs.i386 2.4.23-4.el5
   provider: openldap24-libs.i386 2.4.23-5.el5
</snip>

<snip>
dependency: liblber-2.4.so.2
   provider: openldap24-libs.i386 2.4.23-4.el5
   provider: openldap24-libs.i386 2.4.23-5.el5
</snip>

2. User enumerations using referral chasing works now.

Verified in version:
# rpm -qi sssd | head
