The samba 3.5.7 manpage for smb.conf had a proper explanation of the possible parameters. After the 3.5.8 update, I see the following:
locally, i.e. directly accessing the database file, circumventing the server.
EXPLANATION OF EACH PARAMETER
Although the configuration file permits service names to contain spaces, your client software may not. Spaces will be ignored in comparisons
And the actual parameter descriptions are missing.
samba-3.5.8-75.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14.
samba-3.5.8-76.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14.
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing samba-3.5.8-76.fc14'
as soon as you are able to.
