SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/mission-control-5 from 'write' accesses on the file /home/maners/.cache/.mc_connections. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that mission-control-5 should be allowed write access on the .mc_connections file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep mission-control /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_mission_contro l_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Context unconfined_u:object_r:cache_home_t:s0 Target Objects /home/maners/.cache/.mc_connections [ file ] Source mission-control Source Path /usr/libexec/mission-control-5 Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages telepathy-mission-control-5.7.6-1.fc15 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.16-5.fc15 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.38-1.fc15.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Mar 15 05:29:00 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 477 First Seen Mon 14 Mar 2011 10:25:19 PM EDT Last Seen Tue 22 Mar 2011 07:02:45 PM EDT Local ID c23f3d6d-edcf-452e-8e31-6cd0f4d48548 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1300834965.34:98): avc: denied { write } for pid=2052 comm="mission-control" name=".mc_connections" dev=sda5 ino=114 scontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_mission_control_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=unconfined_u:object_r:cache_home_t:s0 tclass=file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1300834965.34:98): arch=x86_64 syscall=open success=no exit=EACCES a0=c25a80 a1=241 a2=1b6 a3=1 items=0 ppid=1 pid=2052 auid=501 uid=501 gid=500 euid=501 suid=501 fsuid=501 egid=500 sgid=500 fsgid=500 tty=(none) ses=1 comm=mission-control exe=/usr/libexec/mission-control-5 subj=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:telepathy_mission_control_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: mission-control,telepathy_mission_control_t,cache_home_t,file,write audit2allow #============= telepathy_mission_control_t ============== allow telepathy_mission_control_t cache_home_t:file write; audit2allow -R #============= telepathy_mission_control_t ============== allow telepathy_mission_control_t cache_home_t:file write;
If you run restorecon -R -v ~/.cache It should fix this problem
