Description of problem:
It seams that cifsiostat doesn't report files opened on share mounted from linux machine. cifsiostat obtains values from /proc/fs/cifs/Stats. When file on linux share is opened, this action is counted as "Posix Opens" in /proc/fs/cifs/Stats file and is not reported by cifsiostat. I think cifsiostat should also take "Posix Opens" into account.

1. mount writable share located on linux server
2. run "cifsiostat 1" in first terminal
3. run "touch /mounted/share/foo.txt" on second terminal
4. examine cifsiostat reports

Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains 
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as an 
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to 
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the 
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
