Created attachment 487396 [details] backintime -b from the terminal The backup fails for problem in the gnome notification code everytime a new snapshot is tried to be taken. Versions: backintime-common.noarch 1.0.6-2.fc14 @updates backintime-gnome.noarch 1.0.6-2.fc14 @updates I have executed `backintime -b` to see the backtrace and I have attached the result. To work around the problem i temporarly have commented line 150 of file /usr/share/backintime/plugins/gnomeplugin.py
Sounds like https://bugs.launchpad.net/backintime/+bug/671946 which is fixed in 1.0.8.
