Description Alan Crosswell 2011-03-27 19:12:09 UTC
The release notes say FC14 will work in 256 MB for text mode. I have a Celeron 500 MHz system with 320MB and Anaconda fails to install, saying "You do not have enough RAM to install Fedora on this machine using this install method." This was doing a kickstart install that forces text mode.

And, on tty3, it says:
INFO loader: starting STEP_STAGE2
INFO loader: 393216 kB (384 MB) are available

Hmmm...

Foudn some RAM in my junk box. The machine now has 384 MB and still fails to install.

Fedora 14 is reached end of life on 2011-12-08. Please try a current, supported version of Fedora. Your system appears to clear the minimum requirements for F15, and if your installation problems continue, please let us help! http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicating_and_getting_help
