Description of problem: Terminal uses F10 to get to menu, but so does JED which can only be run in a terminal. How did you install Fedora? Is this the Gnome/default desktop? If so, you are probibly using gnome-terminal, not Terminal (Which is Xfce's terminal). If you are using Xfce's Terminal, you can right click on it, go to preferences, and shortcuts and click the 'disable f10 for menus'.
