Works for me. Does it crash for you always or only sometimes?

Please run 

$ debuginfo-install xfce4-battery-plugin

because some debug symbols are missing. If it crashes again, submit a new backtrace.

Seems it didn't crash again, at least I received not further reports and not even a reply to my question form comment 2. Without proper info there is not much I can do.
