Mick, is this an issue that was introduced during development, or is it present in a release?

I believe that this was *uncovered* during development, when a similar client-side bug was fixed yesterday.

Based on my testing, this crash *was* possible before that -- but was approximately 10x less likely -- almost always masked by client-side crash.

I was starting to think I had made a mistake in the build and hallucinated this bug -- but I just got a repeat.  After 14,000 iterations.

At that frequency it is not practical to try reproducing.  I will try to come up with a theory about what's happening -- and hopefully that theory will include a way to increase the crash frequency.
