This screenshot shows the problem

Description of problem:

When you tile windows in Gnome Shell, there's a drop shadow under the left window that covers part of the right one. This makes it look like the right window is on a lower layer than the left one. This makes no sense, IMHO. When windows are tiled, they should both be on the same level.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

This happens with all windows as soon as you tile them.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a window, drag it into the left action area.
2. Open another window, drag it into the right one.

Actual results:

Windows have drop shadows when tiled.

Expected results:

Tiled windows should not have drop shadows.

Additional info:

See attached screenshot.

Thanks for the report. This has previously been filed upstream.

Oh, good. Had searched in Gnome's bugtracker but couldn't find anything. Would you perchance have a link to that bug? :)

I added it to the External Trackers section when closing this bug. :-)
