LXC support to have support across the stack in kernel, libvirt, virt-manager, and virtinst. This allows for a consistent user experience with both KVM an LXC using the existing Virtualization management tools. The virt-manager should allow for a user to create Linux Containers.
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Fixed in virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6
Hmm, I haven't tried reproducing the crash yet, but better to file a separate bug now and when I get to it I can dup if necc. Thanks
Yeah I'm really not sure what the issue is, but I know there are some virt-manager crasher issues on fedora 15. It doesn't sound like what you are doing is the same 728845, so I think a separate bug should be filed. It's unclear to me what the other issues are still unresolved, can you summarize? Thanks
Thanks Cole. No issues any more for this bug. I have filed a fedora bug 741819 to track the issue mentioned in Comment 8. According to Comment 5 and Comment 7, Move it to VERIFIED.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: virt-manager now allows managing linux container (LXC) guests. This includes basic lifecycle management (start, stop, pause) and creation of application containers.
