Description David Sommerseth 2011-04-07 17:55:35 UTC
The installation guide gives information about the PAE feature in MRG Realtime kernels. This feature is not available any more. This impacts only 32 bit kernels and will limit the memory to 4GB on 32 bit realtime kernels.

I'm nitpicking now, and I might most likely even be wrong. The RPM packages are identified as i686 for 32-bit. x86 is in my opinion the correct definition of 32-bit. But to avoid a x86 and x86_64 confusion, maybe using i686 would be better to use in this context?

For example:
"As of MRG 2.0, the i686 kernel-rt packages (32-bit kernels) are no longer supported."

Feel free to reject :)

I like changing x86 to i686. Makes it clearer.

Will have to wait for 2.0.x or 2.1 now as the Realtime books are already in the hands of localization for 2.0.0
