RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 8 Daniel Veillard 2011-04-13 02:06:30 UTC
libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6 is now rebuilt in RHEL-6-candidate, I just changed
the spec file to re-add the missing Requires: tog-pegasus and rebuilt.

Comment 9 Cui Chun 2011-04-13 05:13:23 UTC
Checked with libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6. The dependency failure info for tog-pegasus can be shown.

# rpm -qp --requires libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6.x86_64.rpm |grep tog-pegasus
tog-pegasus

# rpm -ivh libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6.x86_64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        tog-pegasus is needed by libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6.x86_64

Also run "diff" about dependency between libvirt-cim-0.5.11-3.el6 and libvirt-cim-0.5.8-3.el5 (for RHEL5.5 errata-RHBA-2010:0206). Do not find other missing.

Comment 10 Daniel Veillard 2011-04-13 06:16:27 UTC
It does not make sense to compare dependencies for builds in RHEL-5 and RHEL-6.
You may check if RHEL-5 build has the dependency on tog-pegasus, it should
but if it wasn't there that would be unrelated to this bug.

Comment #9 for me validate the bug is fixed in this build.

Daniel

Comment 11 Cui Chun 2011-04-13 09:45:12 UTC
Yes, RHEL-5 build has the dependency on tog-pegasus.

# rpm -qp --requires libvirt-cim-0.5.8-3.el5.x86_64.rpm |grep tog
tog-pegasus

# rpm -ivh libvirt-cim-0.5.8-3.el5.x86_64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        tog-pegasus is needed by libvirt-cim-0.5.8-3.el5.x86_64

Comment 12 Cui Chun 2011-04-14 01:23:00 UTC
Change it to verified.
