How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Imported an image which exist in us-west
2. Threw an error : InvalidAMIID.NotFound: The AMI ID 'ami-d3025196' does not exist REQUEST=ec2.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:443/?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAI2KPFDYVZKSRTJMQ&Action=DescribeImages&ImageId.1=ami-d3025196&SignatureMethod=HmacSHA256&SignatureVersion=2&Timestamp=2011-04-12T11%3A02%3A13.000Z&Version=2010-08-31&Signature=sGH1KH0rTLoBIxnyWqvaA1txSLX9%2Fdh2eKsHIrlH0h4%3D REQUEST ID=f4cede08-6a3e-4833-aa3a-6e22a76c4b31 
3. I think by default the ami is searched in us-east.
