Description of problem: Even if the server is registered to Hosted configure-proxy.sh still ask if Monitoring scout should be installed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): spacewalk-proxy-installer-1.1.2-1.el6sat.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Register system to Hosted. + Tools channel and "Provisioning" 2.yum install spacewalk-porxy-insteller 3.configure-proxy.sh Actual results: Do you want to install monitoring scout? Will run 'yum install spacewalk-proxy-monitoring'. [Y/n]: n Expected results: This step is not presented. Additional info:
Not true. Monitoring is skipped if you activate against xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com. So if you try to activate against e.g. stage you are prompted to activate. But this is not first time... So I will not close this one as usual, but I think it is time to implement hostedWhitelist...
Commited to spacewalk.git as 4e7a5bbecd783afcb8a6334b98d39989679aca6f Now configure-proxy.sh honor hostedWhitelist. If you put your rhnParent to hostedWhitelist you will not be prompted. Neither for monitoring nor for CA Cert.
correction the spacewalk.git commit is de98703f52a023577d85b77a8f38a336c064b668
