Description of problem:
old version of rubygems package prevents instalation of other GEMS.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Name       : rubygems
Arch       : noarch
Version    : 1.3.1
Release    : 1.el5


How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
gem install -v=0.4.2 i18n

Actual results:
ERROR:  Error installing i18n:
        i18n requires RubyGems version >= 1.3.5


Expected results:
gem installed

Perhaps the package version is old because el5 is ~4 years old and considered to be stable.

Maybe consider upgrading to el6
