CURRENT: Image Template An Image Template is a set of system entities that correspond to the systems, applications and services that can be targeted for instantiation while utilizing resources in the cloud. Assembly An Assembly is an aggregation of a number of system entities or a collection of systems that can be generated and instantiated for operation in the cloud. QE's take: Right now templates are merely a list of rpm packages that will be installed on a running instance. The template also includes the architecture of the instance. I think entities is a little too ambiguous here, I would change it to.. "An image Template is a set of packages that correspond to a system that can be targeted for instantiation while utlilizing reourses in the cloud" or something like that..
Revised content to read: Realm A Realm is a provider-specific method to organise cloud resources, usually based upon the location of a specific provider service. If a user requires a deployable to start in a particular Realm, the Cloud Engine scheduler can choose which mapped Realm to use. Image Template An Image Template is a set configuration options that correspond to a list of packages and system architecture for a virtual machine. Cloud Engine builds an image template into a virtual machine image that utilizes resources in the cloud.
