Description matteo porta 2002-07-25 22:52:06 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530

Description of problem:
during setup you should ask the user if he wants to enable the harddisk dma and
other settings. these settings are not enabled by default, and many users don't
even know that they exist, so disk access is slower than it could be (and
windows users often look at disk access as a weak point for linux)

This is not an issue anaconda will address - it is perhaps something a hardware
browsing/configuration tool could however.
