Description Asha Akkiangady 2011-04-26 19:57:53 UTC
Cloned bug 699875 for the pam_pkcs11 component, this problem to be fixed in RHEL 6.2 release.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #699875 +++

Description of problem:
Rhel 6.1 smartcard login guide should document the cert_policy directives require a space before "=".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Rhel 6.1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In Rhel 6.0 this is documented (cert_policy =ca, ocsp_on, signature;) with a note "Because of the way the file is parsed, there must be a space between cert_policy and the equals sign. Otherwise, parsing the parameter fails".

http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Managing_Smart_Cards/enabling-smart-card-login.html

2. Rhel 6.1 should also document this.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2011-04-27 06:00:19 UTC
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 3 Bob Relyea 2014-05-14 22:02:15 UTC
Rhel 6.0 documentation carries over to 6.1 and beyond. The current website is still correct.
